Age: 10 Title: Batik Art Media: Watercolors and Wax Victoria created this picture the day after her second EEG, when the doctor told her that she would have to keep taking her medication and that she may never outgrow her seizures. "I was sad when I made this picture, and I chose dark colors for it," Victoria says. Victoria thinks "epilepsy is horrible." She doesn't know any other children with epilepsy, but looks forward to attending an epilepsy camp next summer. There she will find out that she is not alone. |
