Artist: Ciara O. Age: 3 Title: My Butterfly Media: Watercolors 3-year-old Ciara painted this butterfly with the help of an aide in preschool. She suffers from Dravet Syndrome, which is severe myoclonic epilepsy of infancy. She can take nothing for granted in her life, not even her ability to walk outside and explore. For this reason, her family sees butterflies as a symbol of hope for a normal life for Ciara. |
