Artist: Dawn L. Age: 48 Title: A New Day Media: Colored Pencils, Tech Pen For Dawn's entire life, she was haunted by strange spells that made her fall asleep or act differently. She was not diagnosed with epilepsy until she almost drowned from a grand mal seizure in her early twenties. "Epilepsy" was a scary word, but it was an explanation for what had been happening to Dawn for her entire life. This knowledge finally empowered her to accept herself and move on happily to each new day. |
